The Fruit of Religious Faith Are Clearly Evident that God is Alive and Well

The results of faith in God are nothing but astounding, proving once again that the scriptures are true and God is real.   Despite the increasingly aggressive marketing campaign by celebrity atheists and national book tours denouncing God and the presence of religion in the public places, God remains the surest place to put your faith and build your life upon.

The research at, shows the 75 percent of American adults believe in God and almost 40 percent attend a religious institution at least once a week and pray daily.  The results have a direct and significantly positive impact on society.

For example, these religions practices have a direct link to sustaining families, raising healthy young adults and maintaining good health.  This evidence confirms what the scripture says;

“The fear of the LORD adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short.”  (Proverbs 10:27)

“Blessed are those who fear the LORD, who find great delight in his commands.  Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed."  (Psalm 112:1-2)

These words ring true in the research at

“Families who frequent religious institutions tend to have higher marital satisfaction and fidelity, fewer incidents of domestic violence, and greater conflict resolution. The religious practice of parents also seems to have a significant impact on how adolescents will view marriage, pre-marital sex, and cohabitation. Likewise, adolescents whose families regularly attend church services are less likely to be sexually active or experience teen pregnancy.”

“Men and women who frequent religious institutions tend to have lower stress levels, are less likely to die from cancer, and have better psychological health than adults who seldom or never attend religious worship. The effect of familial religious attendance can even impact the health of the next generation, as children and teens from households with frequent observance are less likely to report feeling lonely or having episodes of depression.”

The effects of religion on civil society clearly have a tremendous positive impact and this evidence should be presented when addressing the most pressing problems in American culture.  Turning away from God is not the answer.  God is faithful to bless us when we put our faith in Him.  His Word is alive and active, proving that putting our faith in Him is worth it.

"For the word of God is living and active." (Hebrews 4:12)

The typical answer to culture problems apart from acknowledging God and telling people to put their trust in Him, is to spend mountains of money and expand the government with endless programs as America has done for decades.

But it is not possible to spend enough money to replace the value society gets from a strengthened family that believes in God. Nothing compares to the impact on society that faith in God has.

He is the only answer.

Saving Leonardo: A Call to Resist the Secular Assault on Mind, Morals, and Meaning

Is secularism a positive force in the modern world? Nancy Pearcey makes a compelling case that secularism is destructive and dehumanizing and if not confronted, will lead the world into hell on earth. The goal of this book is to equip you to detect, decipher, and defeat the monolithic secularism that is spreading rapidly and imposing its values on your family and hometown. As such, she calls Christians to abandon the "fortress mentality" that has been prominent for years; a mentality that gravitates to isolation from the world. Once again, the faith of Christians is needed to save the world.

Evidence for God: 50 Arguments for Faith from the Bible, History, Philosophy, and Science

In Evidence for God, leading Christian scholars and apologists provide compelling arguments that address the latest and most pressing questions about God, science, Jesus, the Bible, and more, including: -Did Jesus really exist? -Is Jesus really the only way to God? -What about those who have never heard the gospel? -Is today's Bible what was originally written? -What about recently publicized gospels that aren't in the Bible? -Is intelligent design really a credible explanation of the origins of our world? This book shows that is it more intelligent to believe in God then not to.

The Devil’s Delusion: Atheism and its Scientific Pretensions

In this book, David Berlinski addresses the “stray man” arguments from the "new atheism" in a delightful writing style by showing that for no other reason than for how pompous writers like Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, and Christopher Hitchins have tried to use science to support their claims. Berlinksi makes it clear that he in no way means to disparage or belittle Science. He is only trying to show how Science has been twisted by The Four Horsemen in an attempt to prove an anti-religious point of view, and how that twisting promises so much and delivers so little.

Mind Siege: The Battle for Truth in the New Millennium

What is the root of this evil future scenario? "Secular Humanism," according to the authors. Unfortunately, the mainline churches have eaten, swallowed and disgusted tons of humanistic dogma: evolution, socialism, Marxism, etc. It's got to stop. This books shows how we are losing our faith in the time it will be needed most.
