Top 10 Christian Books Of 2016

By: Curtis Wayne 0 Comments   12/18/2016

This was another great year for Christian books that reveal the truth.  This was a year that the remnant stood up to the wickedness in high places. (Matt 11:12)

If you missed my last year picks, check them out here.

This year the theme verse is Isaiah 1:9  - "Unless the LORD of hosts Had left us a few survivors (remnant), We would be like Sodom, We would be like Gomorrah."

The knowledge in these books is more valuable than gold and silver (Psalm 119:72).  The Lord's personal involvement in the world today is more fascinating and more entertaining than anything under the sun.  Soon the knowledge of the Lord given in these books will be censored. Read them while you can.

Each one of these characters and the stories of their lives are used to teach the reader about the prevalence of idolatry in the Bible and in the human heart. "The human heart takes good things like a successful career, love, material possessions, even family, and turns them into ultimate things. Our hearts deify them as the center of our lives, because, we think, they can give us significance and security, safety and fulfillment, if we attain them." An idol is; "anything more important to you than God, anything that absorbs your heart and imagination more than God, anything you seek to give you what only God can give."
