Will The Supreme Court Rule Against God?

The founding fathers that wrote the US Constitution knew that they could not build a nation outside of the reality of God and his laws.  They began by stating that the laws of God are self-evident by everyone, “We hold these truths to be self-evident”.

They continue by saying that humanity was created by God and therefore God is our lawgiver and in Him alone our rights come from.

“…that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Right, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

On this statement our nation was built and no other nation in the history of the world has become as prosperous or successful because of it.

In 1973 the US Supreme Court ruled against God legalizing the murder of unborn babies, which are created by God and every single person is self-evident of this fact – whether they admit it or not.

There were several smaller cases that led to this one, but Roe vs. Wade is a landmark ruling against God by our nation’s Supreme Court.   Since then, the nation has been deteriorating from the inside out.  Nothing can overcome the damage this ruling has brought.  The only thing that will reverse the deterioration of our nation is to reserve the ruling and return our laws to aline with God’s laws.

The Abortion ruling against God was like shooting ourselves in the foot.  No nation can rule against God and expect to survive very long.

Marriage was created by God, as part of his design of humanity.  He also created the genders, male and female.

“Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man … For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.” – Genesis 2:24

“He created them male and female and blessed them” – Genesis 5:2

We have come to the point in our nation’s history where the President and the Department of Justice are asking the Supreme Court to rule against God’s definition of Marriage.

On March 27th the Supreme Court will hear arguments to challenge the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) defining marriage as one man and one woman, for the purposes of federal law which passed Congress with an overwhelming bipartisan majority and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1996.

President Obama has officially urged the Court to overthrow the law.  The President's argument is based on two other previous laws, both of which contain language against what the Lord has declared.   So the justification for ruling against God on Marriage is based on previous laws that have already ruled against God.

This is the same way that Roe vs. Wade was passed.  The decision was based on previous laws of privacy that gave the mother the right to make a decision about life of the person in her body.

The supporters of redefining marriage don’t see the danger in ruling against God, just as they didn’t see the danger in ruling to legalize the murder of babies.

48 million and counting, the damage is everywhere.  Every negative trend from teen pregnancy to unwed mothers to the increase in poverty to the increase in divorce to the increase in people dependent on the government can be shown to begin with this ruling against God.

Marriage is not something that we can change.  God created us male and female and he established marriage as the union of one man and one women.  Any laws that we create against God will not work.  It is creating a law against nature, like creating a law that trees cannot grow in parks.  To think that we can create a law like this is to imagine that we are God; it is to create an imaginary God of our design.

If the Supreme Court rules against God, it would have a major impact on all aspects of life and liberty as we have enjoyed thus far in America.  The number of laws that are based on marriage are staggering and all of them will need to be changed.  Canada has legalized gay marriage in 2006 and to this day their courts are full of cases against previous laws. They have paid a very heavy price in freedom and liberty that they will never regain - until they reverse their ruling.

If the Supreme Court rules against DOMA the results will be anything but good, as the government will be forced to defend the redefinition of marriage against everyone that has religious or conscious objections.  Legalizing gay marriage puts the government into the role of religion, which is just the opposite of what many supporters think they are asking for.  They say they want the government less involved in morality, yet they are asking the government to create a moral law to force all people to believe in it.

Gay marriage is a government endorced religious position, a church-state relationship, which is clearly unconstitutional.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." - U.S. Constitution First Amendment.

The few states that have legalized gay marriage are already in direct violation of the Constitution. The Supreme Court should be ruling to overturn those laws.

Gay marriage creates a religious dictatorship, like Iran, China and North Korea.  It is the creation of a law to discriminate against all other religious and conscious beliefs, which is clearly unconstitutional but since we have already created many laws that are unconstitutional, no one seems to see the full implication – nor the devastation that awaits.

It is impossible for a free nation to legalize gay marriage and remain free.  A nation cannot be free and create laws against God.  There are no such laws that humanity can create by which freedom can be sustained apart from God's laws. These laws to do create equality or freedom, they create just the opposite, discrimination and oppression - a loss of equality and freedom.
Despite what they say, it is impossible for natural marriage and gay marriage to co-exist.  One will be defended and the other discriminated against.

If Abortion is like shooting yourself in the foot, then legalizing gay marriage is like shooting yourself in the knees: what follows is a lot of pain.  It would drive a stake into the heart of our nation.  There is no way to overcome the pain that results without removing the stake – without reversing the ruling.

For the sake of millions of children and parents that would suffer from the discrimination against families, let us pray that the Supreme Court does not rule against God and drive another stake into the heart of our nation.

What Is Marriage?: Man and Woman: A Defense

As many nations are facing an attack on marriage, this book brilliantly explains why the definition of marriage is so critical and why defending marriage is absolutely essential to freedom. The authors remove religion from the discussion and show exactly why defending natural marriage in civil law is for the best of everyone regardless of religion. And finally, this book deflates the argument of “marriage equality." Equal to what? Equal in what ways? This book is perhaps the greatest contribution to this debate this year.

The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God

The meaning of marriage is misunderstood in todays modern culture. This coupled with insightful commentary from his wife of thirty-six years, Kathy, Timothy Keller shows that God created marriage to bring us closer to him and to bring us more joy in our lives. It is a glorious relationship that is also the most misunderstood and mysterious. With a clear-eyed understanding of the Bible, and meaningful instruction on how to have a successful marriage, The Meaning of Marriage is essential reading for anyone who wants to know God and love more deeply in this life.

Marriage Under Fire

For the past forty years, the radical homosexual activist movement has sought to implement a master plan to utterly destroy the family. Dr. Dobson addresses the dire ramifications of judicial activism and presents compelling arguments against the legalization of homosexual unions. This book tells the hidden truths about the damage our nation will suffer if the family unit is further deteriorated.

What's the Difference?: Manhood and Womanhood Defined According to the Bible

John Piper delivers a carefully studied Biblical portrait of what it means to be a man or a woman. The principles are a solid framework that trumps cultures and time because it is based on our original design. The chapters dealing with "The Meaning of Masculinity" and "The Meaning of Femininity" are worth reading because they explain the boundaries of these ideas. Piper shows that men and women were designed for different roles and responsibilities that complement each other – so that when taken together in marriage – they become one complete package. It you want to understand the deference between you and the opposite sex, this book provides clarity to the otherwise confusion taught by modern secularism.
