2 Corinthians 4:1-2

"Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God."

This verse tells us that we are not selling something that cannot live up to its claims.

We are not used car salesmen that are trying to sell an old car as if it were a new car.

We are ambassadors of the Kingdom of God and the claims of Christ stand on their own plainly in sight of everyone - because it is true, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

We don't need to use secret deceptive ways to trick people into believing in Christ. Nor do we distort the Word of God, but tell it plainly as we can for everyone to see in the sight of God.

And we continue to share the truth as it is written, without losing heart or becoming discouraged, because time in counsel (prayer) with him reminds us that people are perishing every day all over the world, and the love of the father compels us to find every last one in every corner of the world.
