Proverbs 29:5

12/7/2017

"Whoever flatters his neighbor is spreading a net for his feet. "

This verse tells us that we need our neighbors to also know the truth and reject sin, otherwise their sins will eventually grow and draw us or our family into.

The truth that sin is destructive demands a committment to that truth. Sin starts off personal, but without confronting it, sin grows to effect everyone in the area and nation.

Therefore, the only defense against sin that will keep everyone from its destruction is a national committment against sin.

And the way a nation defends its people against sin is to put God's laws into the nations laws.
