Psalm 147:4-5

"He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit"

The first verse gives evidence that God created everything.

He created each planet in the universe, giving each one its name.

Nothing in the sky came about by chance. The Lord put all things in their place and He alone sustains the solar system in order that we can remain alive on earth.

The second verse tells us that the Lord is not a weak God, but mighty in power. Who else could create the stars and call them by name?

His understanding is also complete, without limits. He knows what is going on in our lives and he understands the troubles and blessings we have experienced. Nothing is hidden from Him.

This is one of the many reasons that we can put our complete trust in Him. This is why we can be bold in our convictions to the world, with little regard for what they call us, because our God is mighty in power and can turn anything around in an instant.

He understands that it will cost us our lives to follow after Him. It takes faith to believe Him when He said it will be worth it because His reward is greater then gaining the entire world.
