The Fed has no intention of raising interest rates

After a two-day meeting, the Fed policymakers pushed back a rate increase to maybe by the end of the year.

Don't hold your breath.

If the economy was in good shape they would have already started increasing rates.

And the fact that they cannot even increase them from zero is evidence that the economy is in very bad shape.  Six years of government expansion, new regulations and higher taxes has put the economy in reverse.

Q1 was negative and Q2 is not looking much better.

The Fed cannot raise rates this year and they cannot raise them next year in an election year.

They are probably never going to raise rates again until they are forced to by our foreign creditors.
