Gov. Scott Walker signed bill banning abortions on unborn babies capable of feeling pain

The bill does not allow abortions after 20 weeks except to save the mother's life.

"For people, regardless of where they might stand, when an unborn child can feel pain I think most people feel it's appropriate to protect that child," the governor said.

A total of 14 states have similar laws.

The bill contains no exceptions for rape or incest – something the Democrats were not happy about. But why should any nation allow a baby that feels pain to be kills because of a crime committed against its mother?

The implication of these laws is that we have been killing babies that feel pain in their mothers’ womb for 42 years.  Medical research has finally provided the evidence that conservative Christians knew all along.

Obama cannot veto these bills because they are state laws, not federal laws.  And they cannot be stopped by Roe vs. Wade because that ruling left the third trimester open to be determined by medical experts.
